We came as Inter-Stella Monkeys from far away! First some of us had a great time on the 25th anniversary run in Puerto Galera. Because of the typhoon we couldn't use our Inter-Stella Monkey UFO, so we had to take a boat in very heavy seas. But we arrived and had our reunification with our fellow Monkeys.
The run started at 15:30 for the Monkey walkers with a ride in the back of a truck to the start. The truck then went back and picked up the runners.
Following the trail we found strange, alien signs! A green arrow through three, parallel white lines. We haven't seen these signs on Monkey trails before, so we followed the trail up and up until the signs ended on a steep drop off. So most of the Monkeys went lost and arrived in the darkness. But the trail had beautiful scenery and ended back in Subic Bay at a private beach. Thank you hares for the nice trail.
Before the circle we enjoyed a very tasty dinner of BBQ ribs.
In the circle Pussy Snatcher put the hares on the ice and we get an explanation that the green arrow through the white lines means stop, go back. Unfortunately that explanation came too late, but everybody made it back, so all was good.
Next up the virgins with nappies on were made to sit in the bucket and then do the cha-cha-cha dance. We then enjoyed many RA's punishing many for real and imagined hash crimes. Bimbo earned the Monkey Chump of the Month award for failing on run #52 to deliver a scribe report.
After the circle we drank the rest of the hash beer in HIV's bar, the Hot Zone.
